Utilities

  Water services are provided to the site by the Darlington County Water and Sewer Authority (DCW&SA) via a 12” line running along Palmetto Road. Operating pressure of 72 psi with a flow rate of approximately 1,135 gallons per minute (gpm).

  Wastewater service is provided by the DCW&SA through a recently updated 12”  gravity line that runs adjacent to Hwy. 52 and a 10” gravity line that runs along Palmetto Road.

  Electricity is provided by Progress Energy with availability up to 23 kv.

  Natural gas is available to the site provided by South Carolina Electric and Gas (SCE&G). Current service lines run  along Hwy. 52 adjacent to the Park.

  Telecommunications services are provided by BellSouth. The site is served by a state-of-the-art digital switching center. Fiber optic cable has been deployed along Palmetto Road and allows BellSouth to offer a variety of high-speed data and/or Internet services.
